Guidelines For Weight Loss And Good Health

by Christopher D'Orta

What is good health? The standard answer to this question is that good health is lack of an outward manifestation of dis-ease. This view, however, is limited as it is our birthright to experience absolute lifelong physical and mental bliss. Anything else is a compromise.0

Good health is ultimate physical vibrance, explosive energy, peak longevity, and maintaining an ideal weight. Good health can be defined as "cellular health" and is quite easy to achieve and maintain; just keep the seventy-five trillion cells that make up the body healthy and in peak condition. That is it! The question is: how does one keep their cells in peak shape?

Following are some simple ways to promote, support, and maintain cellular health. Essentially, to keep the body’s seventy-five trillion cells healthy, all one must do is eat wholesome cellular food, maintain a pure cellular environment (the lymphatic system), supply a plenitude of oxygen for metabolic functions (oxygenation), do adequate cellular exercise, and promote a healthy mentality. The result is pure homeostatic balance.

Wholesome foods are "real." They feed the body on the cellular level and supply cells with all of the nutrients they need in a bio-available, synergistically balanced form. Wholesome foods do not contain additives and have not been altered by processing or hydrogenation. Anything else is less nutrifying and poisonous to the cells and is therefore a compromise. Good examples of these foods are vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, potatoes, nuts and seeds.

Further, wholesome foods contain critical enzymes. All bodily functions including digestion require enzymes. Enzyme-live foods assist in their own digestion. The enzymes (and nutrients) of foods are depleted when foods are adulterated by processing or high heat (for example, cooking). The body must supply all of the enzymes to digest enzyme-dead food. Often, the small pancreas cannot handle this prodigious job. Thus, the stomach "steals" enzymes from other metabolic functions. This pilfering process weakens critical components of the bodily system.

Additionally, wholesome foods do not contain chemicals and pesticides. The corporate food producers have duped us into thinking that these substances are acceptable components to the foods we ingest. They are not. These substances are alien inorganic invaders to our biological, organically pure systems. Simply put, they are poisonous and deadly to our cells and are therefore poisonous and deadly to us. The immune system expends precious nerve energy removing these pollutants; this weakens (enervates) our metabolic energy systems thereby weakening us. Also, this expenditure of nerve energy hampers the immune system’s ability to remove environmental and metabolic waste. This results in a dirty cellular environment (lymph fluid), leading to systemic toxicity (toxemia), which is the foundation of dis-ease (lack of homeostasis).

Proper oxygenation is another critical factor of good health. All cellular metabolic activities require oxygen. Cells that are starved for oxygen have a precipitously reduced energy producing capacity. The cells are literally "less alive" and you are therefore "less alive." Deep breathing that fills the lower half of the lungs will help remedy this. Exercise also greatly increases the oxygen flow to the cells which creates augmented physical vibrance and mental clarity.

The best cellular exercise is rebounding. Rebounding is working out on a small trampoline. It not only oxygenates the body, but also strengthens every cell in the body by working against gravity. The up and down motion (acceleration and deceleration) of rebounding increases the gravitational effect (g-forces) upon the cells. The cells are forced to adjust to this more stressful environment by strengthening the cellular walls. This means stronger cells and when your cells are stronger, you are stronger. Moreover, rebounding is the ultimate way to clean the interstitial lymphatic fluids (waste removal fluids that bathe the cells), improve immune system functioning, and increase the body’s basal (resting) metabolic rate (burning more calories).

Good health also entails maintaining an ideal weight. However, one must never diet. Diets are destructive to the nerve energy forces of the body and actually lower metabolism. Instead, ideal weight is a by-product of good health! This is the way to achieve permanent weight loss.

Lastly, good health includes a positive mental disposition and healthy emotions. We are a symbiotic continuum of physical, mental, and emotional strata. Accordingly, you cannot have a truly healthy body without also having a truly mind. Meditation, affirmations, and positive visualizations are wonderful vehicles to help achieve this harmony.
